Taco Mild Sauce

By: Barb Gary

In a saucepan combine 2 1/2 cups cold water
Dissolve into that 2 tsps. cornstarch
Then, add all these ingredients:
1 can 6oz tomato paste
4 tablespoons white distilled vinegar
5 teaspoons chili powder
3 teapsoons salt
1/2 tsp. cumin powder

Stir well (whish is best) until all is combined. Turn the heat on medium heat now and once it comes to a boil turn it down to simmer. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Then, put a lid on it, turn off the stove and let it sit until it's cool.
Leave out if eating that day or refridgerate for later use.
Will keep in fridge 4 weeks.
Everytime your'e ready to use it just set it out of the fridge and bring to room temperature for great tasting taco sauce.

This recipe makes 3 cups of sauce. That's probably what you'd get in 50 or more of those little packages.
