Twice Cooked Potatoes

6 large potatoes 1 pint sour cream 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 cup grated cheddar cheese 1/2 cup chopped green onions 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups crushed corn flakes 1/4 cup (½ stick) melted butter - Peel and boil potatoes until cooked but still firm. - Grate into large bowl; fold in all other ingredients, except corn flakes and butter. - Place in casserole dish - Mix the crushed corn flakes and melted butter, then spread over potato mixture. - Bake at 350° for 1 hour until top is brown and center is hot. .... these are from our family recipe books.
